Optimum Pay Commended in Most Promising New Start-Up Category
We are delighted to announce that the Optimum Pay Group have been commended in the Most Promising New Start-Up Category in the Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards.
The Most Promising New Start-Up category celebrates a new business or company that has started within the past three years. The Optimum Pay Group were judged on all aspects associated with a successful new business, including: innovation (identification of an opportunity and development of a product, strategy and business plan), launch (delivery of the product to market & successful business performance), and growth (strategy for expansion and further development).
Optimum Pay Group is a global payroll specialist – existing and potential customers can be any company which pays its staff. Its 100 per cent compliant, HMRC approved payroll models ensure every type of payroll service can be offered in the most effective, understandable and robust way possible. As well as traditional payroll, Optimum specialises in the agency and temporary labour market.
The business was developed as an answer to a range of gaps and shortfalls in the payroll services industry identified by founder and chief executive Carl Boulton. Every product Optimum Pay offers and all it stands for is rooted in a desire to drive up standards, to provide the very best levels of service from fulfilling legal responsibilities to accurate and timely payroll delivery.
According to the Staffordshire Chambers, response to the Business Awards has been overwhelming this year, with hundreds of entries across the categories. The quality of entrees was splendid, resulting in a difficult task for the judging panel.
Staffordshire Chambers Chief Executive, Sara Williams, said: “It is great to see how the entries have developed and by far exceeded previous year’s in terms of quality. We see this as a testimony to the healthy state and award-winning potential of businesses within Staffordshire. I would like to thank the judges for their dedication to the task and the businesses who took the time to enter. Many congratulations to all of our finalists and commended businesses.”
The Steering Committee has now met to review all the entries with the objective of identifying a small number of shortlisted finalists for each category. This proved incredibly difficult, but after a full day of deliberation, the finalists were identified and can now be announced. In addition, a large number of entries were commended by the committee, and all of these will receive framed certificates.
Winners will be announced at a gala awards evening at the Staffordshire County Showground on Thursday 4 July 2019. Over four hundred guests from across the county are anticipated, where they will enjoy a delicious meal and celebrate the achievements of the Staffordshire finalists.
